Faith known by its fruit.
Spiritual Results is a small, independent church. We gather to worship, study the wisdom traditions of humanity, mark the passages of life, and serve one another. We measure our religion by what it produces in us.
We gather
A church is people who meet. We keep a schedule, we keep it, and we keep the record. Members and their guests are welcome at every gathering.
MoreWe are independent
No denomination, no charter from any state, no debt, no public money. Our authority comes from the Source and from conscience, and we render to civil authority what is civil authority's.
MoreWe are open about it
Our Constitution, Bylaws, Statement of Faith, and Membership Covenant are published here in full. So is what we learned about starting a church honestly.
MoreDo that which is right
“We believe the whole of religion can be carried in one instruction, found in every tradition. Love your neighbor as yourself. Tell the truth. Keep your word. Care for the weak. Forgive.”
— Statement of Faith, §4
Understanding
All articlesWhat makes a church a church
The law does not define "church." Courts and the IRS look at whether people actually gather. Here is the test we hold ourselves to.
The truth about 508(c)(1)(A)
A "508 church" is a 501(c)(3) church. The section is a filing exception, not a separate status, and the people selling it as one are selling you a problem.
A private religious society
Spiritual Results is a private membership association in the oldest sense: a church with members. What that protects, and what it does not.
